Ever since Imran Jaffer was eight years old, he has been philanthropic and one area he has supported is the World Partnership Walk, organized by the Aga Khan Foundation Canada. Funds raised by the WPW are utilized to fight global poverty in the developing countries largely in Africa and Asia. Poverty is tackled from many fronts: to improve the quality of life for women, children and youth to improve access to housing, education, health, sanitation, water and increasing food security. All to create economic opportunities for men and women and youth and build strong, resilient communities.
Imran always had a team to raise funds at the World Partnership Walk, Walk with Imran. He has taken pride in being part of such an initiative to make an impact in improving the quality of lives of youth in Africa and Asia. To continue his legacy, the Imran Jaffer Foundation has kept Imran’s team alive and proudly donated $10,000.00 in December 2021 to support this noble cause. Due to the pandemic, the physical walk did not take place and in its place there was a virtual youth musical bash organized by the WPW to raise funds by different teams.
