On Saturday, January 31st, the founding members of the Imran Jaffer Foundation Advisory Board assembled to hold the inaugural meeting. As each person introduced themselves, two things became clear: first, that Imran had a lasting positive effect on so many people in every aspect of his life; and second, that this board is committed to continuing Imran's legacy of positivism. Speak to anyone who knows Imran, and they will tell you of his big heart and warm smile.
At the meeting, The Board members discussed ideas of how best to carry Imran's legacy forward, and to fulfill the Foundation's mission and vision. The first actions are already in place, in the form of scholarships to build on Imran's academic achievements at Bayview Glen School and University of Western Ontario. If you would like to contribute to these positive actions click here to donate to help support the foundation's mission.
